Widely know as "the cowboy whiskey', Pendleton Whisky was named in honor of the Pendleton Round-up, one of the most respected rodeos in the country. Though distilled in Canada, Pendleton is imported, bottled, and distributed by Hood River Distillers.
In contrast to it's rustic trappings, this Canadian import is aged 10 years in premium American Oak barrels for extra smoothness. Hood River demanded a gift box for the whiskey that matched that silky elegance.
This retail tuck-top package starts with a pebble-finish stock which is flood printed with black and a rich red. It's then stamped white pigment foil and a red foil for the cowboy figure. The sheet is then both embossed and debossed before being laminated to a liner stock. This liner is a smooth, coated stock with a flood coat of red and finished with an aqueous coating.
