Applegate's mission is to Change the Meat We Eat. By that they mean making good meat - the kind that’s raised humanely without antibiotics and hormones - accessible to as many people as possible. Applegate approached Guided with a challenge - take our unique 100% chipboard (85% post-consumer) and turn what is normally a boring envelope into a natural, authentic looking coupon envelope that someone wants to open. One where a child begs the mom to open because it's so unique. One where the they want to copy the cow on the front and color their own.
Check, check, check - the result was a Guided printed custom coupon envelope that Applegate used in a 10,000 person US mailing. We digitally printed the envelopes to emulate a crayon drawing, die-cut them, folded glued and then packaged these little beauties.
Applegate is an incredible Company and story.....and a ton of fun to work on. The cherry on the top was the fact that our CEO @davidstober 's daughter is celiac, so it was extra special.
