Every business knows that sometimes it's overkill to use a three ring binder for a presentation that only contains a few pages. While thousands of businesses and consumers around the country have switched from using plastic 3 Ring Binders to our ReBinders, it was no surprise that customers leaned on us to create another product for their binding needs.
Your office may have one of those document finishing machines that punches holes and helps affix either a comb or coil bound spine to a proposal. While these machines are readily available, the eco choice in supplies are not. Our customers wanted a solution that would be professional, durable and environmentally friendly. We created the ReBound Kit which can be used with any document finishing machine and with your existing coil or comb.
The ReBound Kit includes 100 sheets of clear PLA (plant based cellulose) and a solid chipboard back both cut to an 8.5" x 11" size. When your proposal is ready for recycling, simply remove the coil or comb and recycle or reuse it. The chipboard can be recycled and the PLA cover can be composted. Our friends at Indigo Architecture asked us to custom screen print some of our ReBinders for larger proposals and a screen printed chipboard cover for their ReBound Kit.
Don't they look great?! Indigo Architecture's goal is to bring climate-adapted, bioregional design into the mainstream of architectural practice, creating spaces that are responsive to both the people who use them and to local environments.
