disappointed in product; could not identify quality of rebinders at time of purchase (unfinished edges not suitable for clients). I have received better quality binders from Guided in the past.
I'm SO happy I found this binder/Guided for my art business course. Every binder I've received this far has been in great condition with smooth ring opening and closing (no mismatched rings either). My creative students like the fact that they can doodle on it and that it's recycled. The cardboard is stiff/sturdy enough that it can be printed on (by a local screen printer - see image) and the edges don't crumple. Personally, I enjoy the raw, less-than slick finish. If I wanted slick, I would have bought boring plastic binders for my courses. In addition, as a small business owner, I appreciate the fact that their ordering and shipping process is fast and easy with friendly follow up from Guided, itself!
For my next order, I'll look into their printing services and the other products they offer. VERY happy with Guided - sticking with them!
Although the actual binder rings are satisfactory, the corrugated used to make the binders is cheap cardboard box material. What you can't see on the pictures is that the edges of the binder have rough chunks every inch or so where the cardboard was torn apart into sheets to make binders, and there is no nice finished edge on the binders, you can look right in between the two layers of cardboard that make up the corrugate cover. The covers aee nor heavy-duty at a and I anticipate that they will soon be bent or even torn. I was very disappointed when I opened the parcel and found I had wasted my money.
Guided was able to deliver my product from Seattle to San Diego in a matter of hours!! The products were in great condition, and even better than I pictured them. Plus, the customer service was EXCELLENT. They were so friendly, kind, and efficient. We'll definitely be purchasing again with Guided!
Looks terrific, pleasant handfeel. Just enough stiffness at the bends to keep the binders upright on a shelf, and the flaps don't fall when opening. Extractable rings and free labels are a real bonus.
